Worker Dies from Fall at Lentor MRT Construction Site

Ang Mo Kio, Singapur – A construction worker died when he was working at a construction site inside a tunnel at Lentor MRT station worksite on Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5.

The accident happened on Thursday, March 01, about 4am, when the chamber (Man-lock) suddenly swung and hit the platform causing that the consruction worker fall 2.5 meters.

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) said: “Following the incident, LTA also imposed a safety timeout to review work processes and is assisting The Ministry of Manpower and the police in their investigations

The identity of the 48 years old construction worker hasn’t been revealed, the mas was pronounced dead by paramedics after the accident.
