Man Killed in Construction Accident in North Attleboro

North Attleboro, Massachusetts – A construction worker died while he was working at a construction site in Salem.

The accident happened on Friday, February 15, when the excavator he was operating at a work site in Salem slid and rolled while moving up a ramp.

The victim was identified as Daniel James McEvoy, 30, of Wrentham.

Ashley McEvoy, Daniel’s wife, said: “He was a wonderful father and he was a man that was larger than life… He was just somebody who had a heart of gold. Always had a hand for the needy. He gave in secret a lot.”.

OSHA officials were notified of the incident and are investigating.
