Man Dead After Oakville Construction Site Accident

Oakville – Regrettably, due to the unfinished nature of a house under construction, a cinder-block wall fell, resulting in the loss of the life of one of the construction workers.

The fatality happened shortly before 12:40 p.m. in the area of Oakville / Halton Region.

David Hill, president of Ballantry Homes said: “Today, sadly, a tragic accident occurred at our Upper Glen Abbey site at Dundas Street and Bronte Road in Oakville, killing one worker. We are deeply saddened. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of the worker who lost his life.”

The name of the 23-year-old construction worker has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
