Construction Worker Killed by 18-Wheeler

Sweetwater, Texas – A construction worker died while he was working at eastbound Interstate 20 at Sweetwater.

The accident happened last Wednesday in the morning (December 5th), when the construction worker was struck by an 18-wheeler.

Fire Chief Grant Madden said: “the worker was part of a crew surveying damage to the road from five wrecks this morning around mile marker 248 – all involving big rigs”.

The 62 years old construction worker identified as Jesus Vicente Enriquez, was pronounced dead at the scene.
