3 Workers Injured in Collapse at Navy Federal

Pensacola, Florida – 3 construction workers injured when the floor they were working on collapsed at Navy Federal on Nine Mile Road.

The three men were on the top floor when it collapsed and they fell about 25 feet.

Just after 5 a.m. an accident occurred in the rooftop structure of Navy Federal Credit Union’s Phase Two expansion project at its Heritage Oaks campus in Pensacola. The accident took place in a construction zone, outside of Navy Federal’s current employee workspace,” a Navy Federal spokesperson said in a statement.

All three construction workers were transported to Sacred Heart hospital. Their names has not been released.
