Worker injured at Danbury Construction Site

Danbury, Connecticut – A construction worker was injured Friday morning at a construction site in Danbury.

The accident happened on January 11th at about 9 a.m, when a concrete pump truck boom malfunctioned and struck the worker in the head.

Fire units responded immediately to the scene and used a rope system to bring the patient up the snow-covered bank to an ambulance.

OSHA officials are investigating the accident.
