Worker Crushed to Death by Forklift in Queens

Queens, New York – A construction worker died while he was working at a construction site on 89th Avenue, near 150th Street.

The victim was Edgar Pazmino, 34, an immigrant from Ecuador.

The accident happened last Tuesday, March 13, about 11 a.m. when he was riding on top of the machinery and the driver put the forklift in reverse. The construction worker hit his head on a beam.

Pazmino’s brother in law said: “He used to say it was very dangerous to work there. He told me this last Saturday.

The 34 years old man was pronounced dead at the scene an hour after the incident.
