During the last Christmas Day a Russian military airplane crashed into the Black Sea. On board the flight were a total of 92 passengers, including 64 members of the Alexandrov Ensemble choir (including its leader) and 8 crew members. All of them perished in the crash.
The passengers list also included a Russian humanitarian worker, the Director of the Department of Culture for the Russian Ministry of Defence, 7 soldiers, 9 journalists, and 2 civilian officials.
Authorities investigate the causes of this accident; however, Russia says tech failure and human error among main theories.
“Possible malfunctions. certainly wouldn’t have prevented the crew from reporting them“, Vitaly Andreyev, a former senior Russian air traffic controller, told RIA Novosti.
