One Dead, Another Seriously Injured, After Construction Accident

Baton Rouge, Louisiana – One worker died, and another was seriously injured, after an accident at a construction site at the 3000 block of North Sherwood Forest.

The accident happened last Friday, December 22nd, at about 4 p.m, when the elevator where they were, was hit by a beam.

Baton Rouge Police Department officer said: “The construction worker died of apparent head trauma”.

Deadly Scaffolding Accident

The 32 years old construction worker identified as Saustimo Aguirre, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other man was taken to the hospital.
