Deadly Scaffolding Accident

New York, New York – A construction worker died while he was working at a construction site at the 61 Ninth Ave. Chelsea.

The accident happened last Monday, December 18th, in the morning, while he was standing on a sidewalk shed, and he was hit on his head by an anchoring bracket.

Building department spokesman, Joseph Soldevere, said: “This tragedy appears to have been completely preventable and we are taking enforcement actions against all parties involved,”.

The 34 years old construction worker identified as Przemyskaw Krawczyk, was pronounced dead at the Lenox Hill Hospital.
