Construction Worker Struck To Death

Concord, Massachusetts – A construction worker was struck to death during a sewer project at the Willard School.

The Metropolitan Police Department said the accident was reported at 1:47 p.m. on Wednesday.

A preliminary investigation shows the man was operating the crane outside of the truck when an apparent mechanical failure occurred and the worker was struck by the equipment.

The victim was identified as Daniel W. Adams, 55, of Sutton.

Police and OSHA officials are investigating the accident.
