Construction Worker Killed in Accident

Covington, Oklahoma – A construction worker died while he was working at a construction site at the 20000 block of East Longhorn Road.

The accident happened last Monday, October 16th, at about 10 a.m. The victim was found pinned underneath a trenching machine. There were no witnesses to the accident.

Garfield County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Logan Niles said: “Upon arrival, they located a male subject pinned underneath the trenching machine.”

The 56 years old worker identified as Davis Knox, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident is being investigated by OSHA.
