Construction Worker Injured on Job Site

On the Braga Bridge in Massachusetts, over the Taunton River between the town of Somerset and the city of Fall River, a worker suffered an accident when he lost control of the hose he was holding, resulting that the concrete spilled onto his skin and scraped both of his arms with plywood.

An investigation determined that the Aetna Bridge Company (the company in which the worker works) had another incident in the same Bridge in March of last year according to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The company has had three violations on his record.

Fortunately, the worker didn’t suffer significant injuries and he is already at home out of danger, expecting to return to work soon.
