Construction Worker Hit in the Head by Scissor Lift

Ottawa, Canada – A construction worker was injured while he was working at the Parliament Station construction site at Queen and O’Connor.

The accident happened on Thursday, November 23th, at about 12 p.m, when the construction worker was hit in the head with a piece of equipment.

Ottawa Paramedics said: “A scissor lift was being lowered into the tunnel when it struck the worker on the head, causing a neck injury.

The 28 years old construction worker was taken to the hospital for x-rays. He’s in stable condition, according to paramedics. His identity has not been released.

The accident is being investigated by The Ministry of Labor.
