Construction Worker Killed at Worksite

Willmar, MN – A construction worker was killed while working in a construction site near the Kandi Mall.

The accident happened last Friday, July 23, at about 12:45 p.m, when trusses fell on him. Co-workers used equipment to get him free.

The 60-year-old construction worker was rushed to Rice Memorial Hospital.

Willmar Police Chief Jim Felt reported the death Saturday morning.

Police say he died as a result of his injuries and haven’t released his identity yet.
