Construction Worker Dies in Cement Mixer

Wayne, New Jersey – A construction worker died while working on a concrete mixer.

The accident happened on Wednesday at about 9:53 a.m on Dey Road.

The victim was cleaning out a cement mixer and for some reason became trapped and was crushed.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, Capt. Laurence W. Martin said. OSHA was notified about the incident.

Identity of the 34-year-old construction worker has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
